Free Robux codes: what actually works

Three different things get called a 'free Robux code', and only two of them exist. Here's what each one gives you, and where to redeem it safely.

Live Survey.GG bonus codes

No bonus codes are live right now. They’re announced in our Discord first and are usually capped, so they go fast.

Redeem a code

The three things people mean by "free Robux codes"

1. Roblox promo codes — real, but not Robux

Roblox runs its own code system at roblox.com/promocodes. These are genuine and free, and they’re usually tied to an event, a brand partnership or a Roblox-owned experience. What they give you is avatar items — hats, accessories, wings — that land in your inventory.

What they have never given, in the entire history of the system, is Robux. Any list claiming to have a Roblox promo code worth 10,000 Robux is fabricated. The items are still worth redeeming; they just aren’t currency.

2. Platform bonus codes — real, and actually Robux

This is the category that genuinely carries Robux value. Platforms like Survey.GG issue codes that credit a bonus to your balance, paid out of ours. They’re real because there’s a real balance behind them — the same one that funds every withdrawal.

They’re also, necessarily, small and capped. A code that gave unlimited Robux to unlimited people would empty the platform in an afternoon. Expect a bonus on top of what you earn, not a substitute for earning.

3. "Robux code generators" — not real

A generator would need to write into Roblox’s code database. External sites cannot. What they produce is random strings formatted to look plausible, wrapped in the same offer treadmill described on our free Robux without human verification page. You can test a hundred of them and none will validate, which is the design — every failed attempt keeps you on the page.

One rule covers all three: you never enter a code and a password on the same page. Redemption only ever needs the code and a session you already have.

Where real codes get announced

Roblox announces its own codes through official channels — the Roblox blog, its social accounts, and the partner running the promotion. Survey.GG codes go out in our Discord first, then to X and TikTok.

Aggregator sites that promise a “list of 50 working codes” are almost always padding with expired and invented ones to keep the page long. A short honest list beats a long fake one, and a code that already hit its redemption cap will read as invalid no matter how recently it was posted.

If codes aren't enough

Codes are a bonus, not a strategy — even a generous one is worth a fraction of what a couple of evening sessions on an offerwall pays. If you’re here because you want a meaningful Robux balance rather than a one-off drop, the free Robux guide lays out every method that actually scales, and the Earn page is where you’d start.
